Aqida: Building a Firm Foundation of Faith

Belief is the root from which all actions grow. At Al-Madina Moschee, our Aqida lessons go beyond simple classroom instruction. We aim to instill a deep, logical, and heart-felt understanding of the Islamic creed, helping students navigate the modern world with a clear and firm identity.

At a Glance

  • Context: Part of the Sunday School curriculum & specialized sessions.

  • Focus: The Six Pillars of Iman, the Names & Attributes of Allah, and contemporary challenges to faith.

  • Approach: Interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and evidence-based learning.

What Makes Our Aqida Lessons Unique?

  • Beyond the Book: We don’t just memorize facts; we discuss the wisdom behind our beliefs.

  • Safe Space for Questions: We encourage students to ask “why” to help them reach a level of “Yaqeen” (certainty).

  • Practical Application: Understanding how belief in Allah influences our character (Akhlaq) and daily choices.
